Nguyen Thi Anh Thu - a 10th grade student at Quang Trung High School is a well-behaved, polite student with good academic performance and actively participates in movements and activities of the class and school. Because her parents work far from home, Thu has lived with her grandparents in village 2, Me Pu commune, Duc Linh district since childhood. In November 2024, during a mini-soccer practice, Thu unfortunately broke both ankles and was taken to the hospital for surgery. During the treatment of her leg, she unfortunately became infected and had to undergo multiple surgeries to remove the necrotic flesh. When everything seemed to be fine, more serious complications occurred. Prolonged treatment and the use of high doses of antibiotics caused kidney failure. More worryingly, the child's condition is becoming increasingly serious with complications such as pneumonia, blood infection and osteomyelitis.
