(QNO) - This morning, January 24, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association held a conference to summarize the association's work in 2023, deploy tasks in 2024 and award the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Award in 2023.
Attending the conference were comrade Le Van Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, representatives of leaders of departments and branches, all members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and authors awarded in 2023.
In 2023, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association achieved many results in all aspects of work, many members responded to create and promote literary and artistic works and press on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". In particular, 3 authors were awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts.
Subsidiary associations such as Literature, Fine Arts... organize field trips inside and outside the province. Last year, Dat Quang Magazine published 12 issues; 14 books were published (9 poetry collections, 2 short story collections; 1 essay collection; 1 photo book, 1 music collection); 42 members won medals of various types at many competitions and festivals at home and abroad...
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged the positive contributions of artists to the overall development of the province. In particular, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has done a good job in building and organizing the association; artists have promoted the role of members in promoting the image of the land and people of Quang Nam through their works and awards, especially the State Award for Literature and Arts.
Regarding the tasks in 2024, comrade Le Van Dung suggested that the Literature and Arts Association continue to focus on building a strong association. Successfully organize the 10th Provincial Literature and Arts Association Congress (2024 - 2029); organize the 4th Quang Nam Literature and Arts Award (2019 - 2023); promote creation on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the period of 2023 - 2025...
At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Award 2023 to 21 works; including 4 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 6 C prizes and 5 Encouragement prizes.
Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association awarded 9 groups and 15 individuals with many achievements in association activities. Dat Quang Magazine awarded 6 individuals with high-quality works in 2023.
