On June 29, the Association of Journalists of Gia Lai Province's resident newspapers coordinated with Thien Tam Humanitarian Association, Dak Doa District People's Committee and Fly To Sky Charity Group to organize the Charity Journey "Connecting hearts - Spreading love" in Dak Doa District (Gia Lai Province).

Accordingly, on the same morning, the Delegation coordinated with local authorities to organize the inauguration ceremony of two clean water wells for Dak So Mei Primary School and Pham Hong Thai Primary and Secondary School in the disadvantaged communes of Dak So Mei and Hai Yang.

Volunteer group presented 300 gifts to ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 350 million VND.

The clean water well project was built with the desire to support teachers and students with a source of clean water. Thereby improving the quality of domestic water sources, ensuring the health of students and teachers when going to school, reducing the risk of diseases caused by using unsanitary water sources.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation visited and presented school supplies, 100 cartons of milk and 700 sets of student sportswear, shoes, sandals and hats to children in difficult circumstances. In addition, the volunteer delegation also presented 300 gifts to ethnic minorities in Hai Yang and Dak So Mei communes with a total value of over 350 million VND.

The meaningful and practical gifts above partly show the affection and care of the volunteer group for people and children in difficult circumstances in the district.

Within the framework of the charity journey "Connecting hearts - Spreading love", the delegation donated 2 clean water wells to 2 disadvantaged schools in Dak Doa district.

It is known that Dak So Mei and Hai Yang communes are two communes with a large number of ethnic minorities, and their socio-economic life still faces many difficulties. The gifts given by the sponsors demonstrate their affection, responsibility, and sharing with the community. In addition, this activity also contributes to taking care of children in ethnic minority areas of Gia Lai province in response to the "Month of Action for Children 2024".

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bui Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Doa district expressed his gratitude for the timely attention and support of the Volunteer Group in contributing with the local government to take care of the material and spiritual life of poor households in remote areas.

Hundreds of gifts including milk, clothes, new shoes... were given to children in difficult circumstances.

“In addition to sharing some of the difficulties with poor households and households in difficult circumstances, it also creates motivation to help people improve their lives. The clean water well projects have contributed to improving the infrastructure and quality of drinking water for students and teachers at schools in the district,” said Mr. Binh.

Within the framework of the charity journey "Connecting hearts - Spreading love", on the same day, the Delegation organized a fundraising art exchange program with the theme "Spreading love". Accordingly, the program had the participation of Vietnam Got Talent Champion Tran Huu Kien, speaker - singer - MC Phan Phuc Thang, singer - musician Cap Anh Tai, MC Dinh Son, MC Thu Tam, Rapper Phuc Chien and Hat Moc Gia Lai Band with a budget of 250 million VND, attracting hundreds of people and children to participate and enjoy. The total value of the trip was more than 600 million VND.
