Practically celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, on July 28, the Provincial Labor Federation (LDB) coordinated with units to organize the donation of support money to build a "Trade Union Shelter" house for two union members Nguyen Thi Sen and Dang Thi Bich Diep (Tan Duong 1 village, Ninh Van commune, Hoa Lu district).
These are two union members with especially difficult circumstances, unable to build houses; currently working at He Duong Cement Joint Stock Company.
Each house is built with 2 solid floors with a total area of 70m2, the construction cost is over 300 million VND. In which, the Provincial Labor Federation cooperated with the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development - Ninh Binh Branch to support the construction of each house with 30 million VND; the Gratitude and Social Security Fund of Hoa Lu district supported Ms. Sen's family with 50 million VND, and Ms. Diep's family with 3 million VND.
In addition, organizations, agencies, businesses, individuals, relatives and neighbors donated the remaining money to build the houses. After more than 4 months of construction, the 2 houses have now been basically completed.
"Union Shelter" is a major program of the union organization to support the construction of houses for union members in difficult circumstances from socialized funds. Thereby, helping union members have stable housing, creating motivation for them to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
