On the afternoon of April 22, the People's Committee of Ky Anh district coordinated with the district Labor Federation to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.
Ky Anh district currently has 103 grassroots trade unions, with 3,395 union members. In recent years, agencies, units, localities, enterprises and trade unions at all levels in the area have coordinated to effectively implement Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, achieving many outstanding results; effectively performing the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.
Trade unions at all levels have presented thousands of gifts on the occasion of holidays and Tet, contributing to supporting and improving the quality of life for union members and employees; effectively implementing emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Writing innovative experiences", "Emulation to teach well, study well", "Green - clean - beautiful", "Union Shelter", "Union meals", building new rural areas; culture, arts, physical education, sports, voluntary blood donation, developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions.
Launching the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Anh District Vo Ta Cuong emphasized: Continue to strengthen information and communication activities, diversify forms, effectively apply social networks to propagate the results of implementing the activities of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month with the theme "Strengthening the development of safe working procedures and measures and improving working conditions, reducing stress at work", widely propagating the rights, obligations and responsibilities in occupational safety and health to businesses and workers.

In recent years, the implementation of occupational safety and health work by enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in Hong Linh town has been quite effective and has achieved certain results.
Information, propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on occupational safety and health have been paid attention to by all levels, sectors and production and business establishments. Units and enterprises in the area have carried out well the training and coaching on basic occupational safety and health according to the set plan; periodic health check-ups and occupational disease screening for hundreds of workers. The direction, inspection and examination of activities in the Action Month have been widely deployed, agencies and enterprises have responded quite positively, organizing many practical activities.
Launching the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace" and Workers' Month 2025, Vice Chairman of Hong Linh Town People's Committee Ton Quang Ngoc requested departments, branches, mass organizations at the town level, wards, communes, agencies, enterprises, and schools located in the area to continue promoting digital transformation right at units and enterprises to improve production and business efficiency.
Implement the programs "Listen - Understand - Share", "Connect love - Overcome difficulties with workers", "Thank workers" to promptly grasp the thoughts of union members and workers about their thoughts, aspirations, and urgent issues to resolve them right at the grassroots level; visit workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who have had work-related accidents, or those who have been hospitalized for a long time; meet to commend and honor outstanding workers with outstanding achievements in union activities and participation in production and business.
On this occasion, the leaders of Hong Linh Town and the Town Labor Federation presented 40 million VND in support to build a "Trade Union Shelter" house for a worker in difficult circumstances.

Responding to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and social activities, all levels, sectors, localities, units and enterprises continue to disseminate regulations on occupational safety and health at the workplace to raise awareness among employees and employers; coordinate to organize training courses on occupational safety and health for trade union officials and employees.
At the launching ceremony, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor awarded support for the construction of 9 "Union Shelters" (VND 325 million); the Huong Son District Federation of Labor awarded 100 gifts to union members, workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances in the area with a total amount of VND 65 million.
