Awarding of Literature, Arts and Journalism Prize on the topic of armed forces and revolutionary war, period 2020-2025

BHG - Recently, at the Army Theater (Hanoi), the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Ministry of National Defense held an award ceremony for the Promotion of Literature, Art and Journalism Works on the topic of the armed forces and revolutionary war in the 5-year period (2020-2025) of the Ministry of National Defense. This is an annual award, held every 5 years. Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; central and local press agencies; artists, reporters inside and outside the Army whose works won the award.

During the launching period, the Organizing Committee received nearly 3,500 entries nationwide, in the following categories: Literature, music, dance, theater, cinema, fine arts, photography, journalism... with high quality. At the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 208 outstanding works in the above categories, including 30 A prizes, 43 B prizes, 59 C prizes, 76 consolation prizes. Ha Giang has one author, journalist Dang Thi Phuong Hoa, a member of the Provincial Journalists Association, who was awarded the Consolation Prize with a 5-part series of articles "Uncle Ho's soldiers at the forefront".

Speaking at the award ceremony, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the award steering committee, praised the dedication and creative work of the artists and journalists inside and outside the Army who have produced many good, meaningful, and highly humane works, creating a widespread influence in society on the image of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers"; at the same time, he hoped that the authorities, artists and journalists would continue to invest, research and effectively exploit the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the nation; the image and qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers"; the glorious tradition of the People's Armed Forces in the resistance wars and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. He also launched the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme of the Armed Forces and the CTCM period 2026-2030.
