Awarding ceremony of the "Book Video" contest

In response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025, on the morning of April 21, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Ly city organized a summary and award ceremony for the contest "Book Video - Reading Inspiration" of Phu Ly city for the 2024-2025 school year.

Taking place from October 10, 2024 to April 1, 2025, the contest attracted 29 participants with a total of 95 entries. The video entries were carefully invested in both content and form, including: book introductions, book types, and diverse, vivid illustrations. Many videos applied modern technology, especially artificial intelligence in content creation; posted on social networking sites, attracting thousands of likes and views.

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to 1 individual and 2 collective prizes to the most quality videos.

The Organizing Committee of the contest has selected 13 individual prizes, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes, and 6 Encouragement Prizes. Of which, the First Prize belongs to students of Minh Khai Primary School with a video introducing the work "Purple Flower Terrace" by writer Nghiem Van Tan. The Organizing Committee also awarded 2 collective prizes to Tien Hiep Secondary School and Luong Khanh Thien Secondary School for having many high-quality videos.

Through the contest, we aim to create a favorable reading environment, encourage and develop a reading culture among students and the community. This is also an opportunity to promote the habit of reading for officials, teachers, students and learners of schools and community learning centers and introduce books to families, clans, schools, agencies and units, contributing to building a learning society.

The contest also provides a playground for individuals to demonstrate their creativity through making videos introducing books; develop digital content creation skills, use technology and especially artificial intelligence (AI) to serve learning and research, contributing to spreading the spirit of digital transformation in the community.
