Awarding ceremony of the contest to learn about the traditions of 80 armed forces of Bac Ninh province and 50 years of liberation of the South

On the morning of April 2, the Provincial Military Command organized a summary and award ceremony for the contest to learn about the 80-year tradition of building, fighting, and growing of the armed forces of Bac Ninh province (April 5, 1945 - April 5, 2025) and the contest to learn about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The Provincial Military Command coordinated with departments, branches, sectors and localities to launch 2 contests with the active response of cadres, party members, employees, soldiers, union members, youth, students and people of all walks of life, in which the oldest contestant was 81 years old, the youngest was 7 years old. The Organizing Committee received nearly 19,000 entries. Agencies and units with many entries were: Dinh Bang 2 Primary School (Tu Son city), Bac Ninh Specialized High School, Han Thuyen High School, Ham Long High School, Gia Binh 1 High School, etc.

As a result, the contest "Learning about the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of the provincial armed forces" had 25 works awarded, including 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes. The contest "Learning about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification" had 10 works awarded, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 7 third prizes.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning authors of the 2 competitions.

The competitions contribute to the dissemination andeducation of the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the provincial armed forces and the great historical significance of the Great Victory in the spring of 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country. From there, it arouses the pride and sense of responsibility of the cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces, continues to promote the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", raises the awareness, consciousness and actions of cadres and people, especially the young generation, about the task of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
