Awarding ceremony of Songwriting Contest about Binh Thuan

After more than 4 months of launching, the songwriting contest about Binh Thuan has received 133 works from more than 90 authors inside and outside the province with many different genres. The works all focus on the content: Praising , introducing the historical and cultural traditions and characteristics of the land, people, potential advantages of Binh Thuan province over 50 years of construction and development.

The songwriting contest about Binh Thuan is based on the Regulations issued with Plan No. 4116/KH-BTC dated October 31, 2024 of the Organizing Committee on launching the songwriting contest about Binh Thuan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan homeland (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) .

Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, delivered a concluding speech.

Musician , Meritorious Artist Dinh Trung Can - Chairman of the Evaluation Council, said: The Evaluation Council has worked seriously and coded the entries so that the Council can work seriously, giving the most accurate results. This is a contest with many songs written about Binh Thuan that musicians have carefully researched and studied. However, during the evaluation process, the Evaluation Council also discovered many songs written using AI digital technology, which do not meet the criteria. Musician Dinh Trung Can explained that music is the harmony of soul, melody and lyrics. The musician must be moved, must truly have a soul to be able to write good songs, with beautiful images and lyrics.

At the end, the organizing committee awarded 16 A, B, C and encouragement prizes for outstanding works. In addition, 5 works were also awarded secondary prizes. Of which, Terracotta Color, author Thanh Phap (Binh Thuan) , A prize, 2 B prizes went to the song " Ve voi Binh Thuan yeu thuong " (Returning to Binh Thuan), author Quang Thanh Giang (Can Tho) and " Dong song thuc " (Awakening River ) , author Dinh Phi Long (Binh Thuan) . C prizes include " I love my hometown Binh Thuan " ( I love my hometown Binh Thuan) ...
