Awarding ceremony of the 2nd Can Tho City Party Building Journalism Award

After nearly 5 months of launching, the 2nd Can Tho City Party Building Journalism Award (Golden Hammer and Sickle) - 2023 has 301 entries (138 more than in 2022), including 5 types of journalism by 86 authors and 90 groups of authors who are cadres, party members, members of professional associations, reporters, and journalists working at press agencies in the city. Of which, there are 91 printed newspaper works, 32 electronic newspaper works, 83 television works, 38 radio works, and 57 photojournalistic works.

Most of the entries comply with the content of the Contest Rules; many entries closely follow the grassroots reality, promptly reflecting the results of Party building and rectification work in localities, agencies and units; many entries discover and praise advanced examples, good people, good deeds, good models and effective methods in Party building work.

Many works are carefully invested in both content and form, demonstrating the sharp political thinking, intelligence, enthusiasm, conscience and responsibility of journalists to the Party and the country, including the work of Party building and building the city's political system...

The jury and the Organizing Committee of the Award unanimously selected 50 works for city-level awards, including: 5 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 15 C prizes, and 20 consolation prizes. Through this, the Organizing Committee and the authors selected the winning works of good quality to submit to the 8th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) - 2023.
