Chairman of the Association of PWDs, NNDC, BTNKT & BVQTTE of Thai Vinh Lieu province said that Vietnam Day for PWDs is an occasion to honor the extraordinary willpower of PWDs, while affirming the commitment of the whole society in building an inclusive, fair and humane living environment, all for the happiness of PWDs.

In 2025, the theme of Vietnam Day for People with Disabilities is “Digital technology and accessibility with disabilities”. The theme is important in the context of an increasingly digital society, where digital technology not only brings opportunities to everyone but also plays a key role in supporting people with disabilities to accesseducation , employment and other essential social services.

Implementing the theme of 2025, the Association of PWDs, NNDC, and the Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs have actively helped PWDs access information technology and digital technology . From the beginning of the year, the association negotiated with the Federation Handicap International and was sponsored by this organization to implement the project "Enhancing access to information and employment opportunities for PWDs through the application of appropriate technology and digital technology" with a total project budget of nearly 5 billion VND.

The project will be implemented from 2025-2027. Through the implementation of the project, it will help people with disabilities in the province, especially young people with disabilities, access technology and digital applications in job creation.

On the occasion of Vietnam Disabled People's Day, the association mobilized philanthropists to give nearly 1,000 gifts and charity houses to disabled people, disadvantaged children and children; and supported the province's program to eliminate dilapidated temporary houses with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND.

Along with that, with the sponsorship of Global Civic Sharing (GCS), the association has supported livelihood capital for households with disabilities raising breeding cows (15 million VND/household) with a total capital of 975 million VND. The association and the Institute for Community Development Studies (ACDC) deployed investment in solar power for the Provincial School for Children with Disabilities and the Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities in Gio Linh district with a budget of 300 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung highly appreciated the contributions of the Association of the Disabled, the Disabled, the Disabled and the Children in the Province in the past time, always striving to care for the lives of the disadvantaged in the province. It is the positive contributions of the association that have helped the Disabled, the Disabled and the disadvantaged children in the province have more motivation to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and integrate into the community.
