Donated 50 million VND to the scholarship fund of Duong hamlet

Tonight, January 13, the Education Promotion Board of Duong hamlet, Co Thanh village, Trieu Thanh commune (Trieu Phong) organized a ceremony to present education promotion gifts to 76 students of the hamlet with a total amount of 50 million VND. This amount was donated by Mr. Ho Ung Luyen's family in Duong hamlet.

Head of the Duong hamlet's Education Promotion Board, Le Duc Hoang, said that recently, before passing away, Mr. Ho Ung Luyen left a will wishing to give 50 million VND to the Duong hamlet's education promotion fund. This meaningful gift is a source of encouragement and support for the children to strive to study.

To show gratitude to Mr. Luyen, we continue to build the neighborhood's learning promotion movement to become stronger and stronger, contributing to creating conditions for children to always strive to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

Head of the Duong hamlet's Learning Promotion Board, Le Duc Hoang, added that more than 20 years ago, with his enthusiasm, Mr. Ho Ung Luyen initiated the establishment of the hamlet's Learning Promotion Board. As head of the Learning Promotion Board, Mr. Luyen always wondered how to provide the children with the best conditions to study. With this in mind, every year the Duong hamlet's Learning Promotion Board organizes awards for students in the hamlet.

Presently, Duong hamlet has more than 60 households.
