On the afternoon of April 20 (ie March 23 of the lunar calendar), Nghi Xuan district solemnly held the 600th death anniversary of Queen Pham Thi Ngoc Tran at the provincial historical and cultural relic of Thanh Mau Temple (Xuan Lam commune).
Before entering the death anniversary of Queen Pham Thi Ngoc Tran, delegates, people and tourists enjoyed a special cultural exchange program with intangible cultural heritages from the provinces of Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh and Ha Tinh.

The Holy Mother Temple is a sacred temple located at the foot of Na Mountain, Xuan Lam Commune, Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province. It worships Queen Pham Thi Ngoc Tran (wife of Le Loi - leader of the Lam Son uprising). The tomb (the back shrine) dates back to the year At Ty (1425), the temple was fully built during the reign of King Le Thanh Tong (son of Pham Thi Ngoc Tran and Le Loi).
She was born into a family in Quan Lai area, Loi Duong district, Thanh Hoa province. She was a loyal and devoted woman, devoted to helping King Binh Dinh Le Loi defeat the Ming invaders and unify the country.

According to historical records, in the early days of the Lam Son uprising, she, along with Binh Dinh King Le Loi and other generals, rushed into battle. On March 24, 1425, when attacking Trao Khau citadel - Nghe An, Queen Ngoc Tran sacrificed herself to the water god on the Lam River so that the god would bless the insurgents to defeat the enemy. After sacrificing herself, her body was kept at Na Mountain, Loc Dien village, Tam Dang commune (now village 5, Xuan Lam commune, Nghi Xuan district).
In 1428, after Le Loi ascended the throne, to repay her kindness, King Le Thai To made her son Le Nguyen Long his successor, taking the title Le Thai Tong. Later, King Le Thai Tong posthumously honored his mother as Cung Tu Quoc Thai Mau, Cung Tu Quang Phuc Quoc Thai Mau; in 1437, she was posthumously honored as Hoang Thai Hau.

Over hundreds of years, the temple has been restored and embellished many times by the government and the people. In 2005, the tomb and temple of Queen Ngoc Tran were recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province.
Every year, on the 23rd to 24th of the third lunar month, Nghi Xuan district solemnly organizes the death anniversary of Queen Pham Thi Ngoc Tran according to traditional national rituals to commemorate her as a person who made great contributions to the people and the country; praying for favorable weather, bountiful crops, and national peace and prosperity.

This is an opportunity to show gratitude, educate the tradition of patriotism, deeply appreciate the ancestors who have contributed to the fight against foreign invaders; arouse the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" and the strength of great national unity, towards the origin; contribute to preserving and promoting cultural values...
