At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized that Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is a special highlight of Ninh Binh's nature and people, a link between the past and the present, a place where cultural, historical and landscape sediments are created, and at the same time a place of harmonious exchange in a symbiotic cultural space officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2014. The complex became the 31st mixed heritage in the world, the 11th in Asia - Pacific and the first mixed heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
After 10 years of being listed, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is considered one of the most typical exemplary models in the world for the successful combination of economic development and sustainable tourism while still being able to respect nature and ensure harmony between the interests of the people, businesses and the state. At the same time, it has become a symbol of Vietnam's responsible commitment to implementing the UNESCO convention on the protection of the world's natural and cultural heritage.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Party Committee, the Government of Ninh Binh province, all levels, sectors, agencies, organizations, enterprises and people to join hands and continue to do a good job of forecasting and identifying the position, role, distinct potential, outstanding opportunities, competitive advantages, challenges in management, being proactive and creative in mobilizing resources, especially public-private partnership, and seeking the support of ministries, departments, sectors, domestic and international experts to continue building, preserving, planning and developing the value of Trang An Heritage.
Continue to promote the role, active participation and responsibility of people in heritage areas, helping people to both participate in heritage conservation and benefit from heritage, strongly shifting the economic structure associated with innovation of green growth model, creativity towards promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, increasing the economic value of heritage, developing cultural industry in a professional, modern, creative and highly competitive direction, taking heritage conservation as the foundation and driving force for development. Proactively and actively integrate international cooperation in preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of global heritage.
The Deputy Prime Minister believes that with the experience, rich cultural history of the ancient capital, the great efforts of the Party Committee, Government and People of Ninh Binh province, the attention and support of the Central Government, localities, the enthusiastic sharing and responsibility of the people of the whole country and international friends, the values of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex will be forever preserved and passed on to today's and future generations, forever lasting and developing with the nation, contributing to concretizing the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference that we must continue to build, preserve and develop an advanced Vietnamese culture, imbued with identity, truly a spiritual foundation, a driving force for development and a guide for the nation, promoting the strength of the Vietnamese people, arousing the aspiration for development of a prosperous and prosperous country, where the people are warm and happy.

According to the President of the 42nd UNESCO General Conference, Simona-Mirela Miculescu, this momentous event not only marks a decade of global recognition of the immense value of this natural and cultural treasure but also serves as an occasion to celebrate Trang An’s excellence in both heritage conservation and sustainable development. Trang An emerges as a shining example of inspiration and innovation.
Through its multi-stakeholder approach and creative collaboration, Trang An has become a role model in the dynamic context of sustainable development, a model where local communities are not merely beneficiaries but also protagonists in the story of a harmonious balance between sustainable tourism and heritage conservation. This achievement is the result of our collective efforts to unleash the transformative power of heritage to enrich the lives of both current and future generations.
Ms. Simona - Mirela Miculescu hopes that the next 10 years in Trang An's history will continue to be written with cooperation, conservation and a shared vision of a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
