Cherish the love for Uncle Ho and my hometown Nam Dinh

Responding to the Writing Contest with the theme “Uncle Ho with Nam Dinh, Nam Dinh with Uncle Ho”, the collective of the Department of Science and Education - Party History and the Department of Political Theory (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department) actively participated with a 660-page entry, gathering many documents, instructions, autographs, rich and vivid images about Uncle Ho with his homeland Nam Dinh. With the meticulousness in collecting documents, scientifically arranging the categories, along with beautiful printing, the entry created a highlight and was awarded the Second Prize by the Organizing Committee.

Comrade Vu Thi Liem, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Education - Party History said: As people who directly work in the field of researching, collecting, compiling and publishing Party history, we feel that the Contest has great significance for every Nam Dinh citizen when we have the honor of welcoming Uncle Ho to visit 5 times. Each individual participating in the Contest is a time to review history, to foster more affection for Uncle Ho and for the homeland. Since the agency's leaders assigned us the task of coordinating with the Department of Political Theory, we have been very excited and promptly started to work on the outline, assigning tasks to each cadre and civil servant according to each person's professional strengths. For nearly 3 months, we have actively performed our professional tasks while closely and smoothly coordinating to collect, gather and exploit documents effectively. In particular, due to the use of a large amount of documents on images, articles, documents in books, newspapers, magazines of the Central and the province that have been reprinted many times or due to carelessness, lost information, the staff in the department had to verify and clarify many historical documents. For example, the photo of Uncle Ho when he stood talking to the people on January 11, 1946 during his first visit to the province. There are many documents recording that Uncle Ho talked intimately with representatives of all walks of life at the provincial People's Committee headquarters, but through verification and comparison with many related documents at the same time, at that time there was no name of the provincial People's Committee, but the most accurate thing was that Uncle Ho talked with representatives of all walks of life at the Nam Dinh City Administrative Committee... Or many times each department had to send staff to take turns on business trips (Hanoi) to exploit sources of documents at the museum, library and Phi Dung PDC collection room... to serve the content of the articles. Then comes the presentation, mock-up, and printing stages, which also take a lot of time because there is a lot of information that needs to be conveyed through symbols and charts for easy comparison by viewers. Next comes the stage of taking and editing photos to ensure the clearest quality...

With a serious and creative working spirit, the article entered into the Contest was highly appreciated. The main content of the article has a structure of 3 parts including: Core values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and the necessity of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the current period; Uncle Ho's feelings for the Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh province and the Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh province - 60 years of implementing Uncle Ho's teachings. Along with the quality of the official contest, the highlight of the article entered into the Contest was also recognized by the judges through the appendix with many documents and images about Uncle Ho with the Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh province and the feelings of the people of Nam Dinh for Uncle Ho; The Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh province have studied and followed Uncle Ho for the past 60 years. Hundreds of photos, documents, instructions, and documents have been carefully collected through books, newspapers, specialized magazines, and yearbooks from 1946 to the present, such as: Ho Chi Minh Complete Works, President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, President Ho Chi Minh's Appeals, Party Documents, History of the Communist Party of Vietnam, International Conference on President Ho Chi Minh, We Have Uncle Ho, Uncle Ho Wrote His Will, Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Diary of Comrade Vu Ky (former secretary of Uncle Ho), Historical Events of the Ha Nam Ninh Party 1920-1954, Historical Events of the Ha Nam Ninh Party Committee 1954-1964, Historical Events of the Ha Nam Ninh Party Committee 1965-1975, Nam Ha Follows Uncle Ho's Words, 50 Years of Activities of the Ha Nam Ninh Party Committee, History of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee 1930-1975, History of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee 1975-2005, Song Dao Newspaper, Nam Dinh Newspaper... And many documents provided by the Nam Dinh Provincial Museum, Ho Chi Minh Institute, Institute of Party History, Central Party Office Archives, National Library. Comrade Pham Phu Thiem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Historical Science Association, member of the Jury of the Contest "Uncle Ho with Nam Dinh, Nam Dinh with Uncle Ho" said: The works participating in the Contest were carefully researched and systematized by the authors of the Department of Science - Party History and the Department of Political Theory (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department) with many valuable documents during Uncle Ho's visits to the province and throughout the development of the Provincial Party Committee over the past 60 years of implementing Uncle Ho's teachings. In particular, the works have been digitized, which is very convenient for archiving, preserving, exploiting and using them forever.
