Tran Bao Son ventures into directing, filming simultaneously in Vietnam and the US

Endless Road is a romance-action film that Tran Bao Son has been nurturing for many years. The artist said that the inspiration for the film was distilled from his own experiences.

Tran Bao Son confided: “I am a child living far away from home, growing up without siblings. That has greatly influenced my life experiences later on, and that is also what inspired me, making me want to take on the role of director, and at the same time be one of the screenwriters of the film Endless Road”.

Over the past few years, Tran Bao Son has focused on his business and preparing for this passionate brainchild. He and his creative team have sketched out frames that intertwine contrasting warm and cold colors, symbolizing good and evil, hatred and forgiveness.

All the messages of the film will be conveyed meaningfully through parallel scenes in a series of settings in the US and Vietnam. Tran Bao Son believes that the selected locations will play the role of special and silent storytellers.

“The film is not only a story about the underworld and power, but also a journey to find love and hope in the most difficult circumstances. I hope that the film crew and I will be welcomed and supported to complete this project in the most perfect way” - the actor of “Quyen” confided.

According to the filmmaker, the characters in the underground world of The Endless Road all have a complex and mysterious beauty. They have their own stories, creating a diverse and contradictory picture, from tense confrontations to deep, introspective moments.

To realize the ideas boiling in his heart, Tran Bao Son and his crew wanted to find acting talents to choose and bring the characters from the script to the screen.

Tran Bao Son made his debut film in both Vietnam and the US.

During his many years of artistic activities, Tran Bao Son did not act in many films. However, the works he participated in were all well-known, such as: Crossroads of Destiny, Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere, Quyen, House in the Alley... He won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Golden Kite in 2009.
