Tran Thanh's movie trailer is criticized for being bland.

The trailer for Tran Thanh's film "The Four Vengeful Spirits," released on the evening of December 20th, is receiving mixed reactions from viewers.

The Four Revengeful Spirits From director Tran Thanh, this is one of three Vietnamese film projects competing for the Lunar New Year 2025 film season. Following a showcase held on the evening of December 20th in Ho Chi Minh City, the director officially released the trailer for the project.

Appearing at the beginning of the trailer are Quoc Anh (Quoc Anh) and Tieu Vy (Quynh Anh), the lead male and female actors of The four main characters are a couple. They were lovers who spent time together before officially becoming husband and wife. However, their marriage gradually cooled and faced turmoil when the beautiful Karen (Kỳ Duyên) appeared alongside Quốc Anh. This worried Quỳnh Anh. She then went to see Jessica (Lê Dương Bảo Lâm) for a tarot reading and to inquire about whether her husband was having an affair.

Furthermore, Quỳnh Anh and her husband's lives are constantly disrupted by the "revengeful quartet" of close friends and relatives such as Aunt Bốn (Lê Giang), Uncle Mười Một (Trấn Thành), and Kiều (Uyển Ân).

After the trailer was released, many moviegoers left disappointed comments. Some felt the trailer was bland and lacked the humor expected from a comedy project. The acting and dialogue delivery of both the male lead Quoc Anh and Miss Vietnam Tieu Vy continued to be a weakness. While Ky Duyen had a noteworthy line, her acting abilities remained questionable.

Sharing his thoughts on the project set to be released during this year's Tet holiday, director Tran Thanh said that, unlike his previous films which were heavily focused on psychology, The Godfather, Mai, Mrs. Nu's House , with In the "Revengeful Quartet ," he wanted to bring laughter to the audience.

Outside The Four Revengeful Ones , another film with Tran Thanh's involvement, is also scheduled for release during the Lunar New Year 2025. Falling in Love with My Best Friend . The film is directed by Diep The Vinh, with Tran Thanh as the producer and investor.

Billion-dollar kiss Thu Trang's film is the third Vietnamese film to be featured in this year's Lunar New Year film race.
