On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" is organized to contribute to creating a unique playground, bringing children and tourists experiences and understanding more about cultural history in general and Mid-Autumn Festival in particular.

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four biggest festivals of Vietnamese people. In ancient times, farmers often watched the moon, predicted the weather, and predicted the harvest.

Since the Ly Dynasty, Mid-Autumn Festival has become a national festival, taking place simultaneously in the royal court and among the people.

In addition to important royal ceremonies, the king also held a three-day festival for the people to enjoy. Everywhere in the Thang Long citadel was decorated with brocade, lights and flowers.

In later feudal dynasties, Mid-Autumn Festival was still an important festival for the royal family and the country. In addition to traditional folk festivals, families often prepared offerings to their ancestors during the day and set up offerings to enjoy the moon in the evening.
