Please follow Ms. Vuong Thi Thuong (Director of Toan Thuong Agricultural Cooperative) as she selects standard persimmons and applies Japanese deep processing technology to create sweet and fragrant wind-dried persimmons, bearing the typical characteristics of Lang persimmons.
Taking advantage of the locally available raw materials, which are persimmons, Ms. Vuong Thi Thuong, Na Sam town, Van Lang district, Lang Son province, decided to start a business, invest in a production workshop and initially achieve success with the product "Wind-dried persimmons" using Japanese technology. This is a pioneering model in the Northern region, applying deep processing technology to create added value for persimmons. Ms. Vuong Thi Thuong's idea of producing wind-dried persimmons was awarded first prize by the Vietnam Women's Union in the "Women's Entrepreneurship" contest in 2023.
With the initial success of the product “Hong vong khuon hang phong”, Ms. Vuong Thi Thuong has contributed to increasing the value and promoting local products. In particular, she is an example for many women who want to start a business from local products, enrich their homeland, promote the potential and strengths of regions to produce goods according to the value chain in the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030.
