China had many difficulties against the Vietnamese team.

Despite paying the debt of losing 1-3 to Vietnam in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup, the Chinese team is still criticized by domestic media.

Sina newspaper even said that the home team's victory over Vietnam was no different than a weak team luckily defeating a stronger opponent.

“It is not an exaggeration to say that the weak team (China) was lucky to win against a much stronger team (Vietnam). But the fans are still supporting their team,” commented Sina.

Sharing the same view, famous Chinese expert Li Xuan also believes that the home team's victory over Vietnam was lucky.

“Coach Jankovic was lucky to win but his ability to lead the team was very poor. The performance of the Chinese team in the first half was really bad.

Hopefully Mr. Jankovic will find a suitable lineup and playing style for the Chinese team," said Mr. Li Xuan.

Another expert from the country of a billion people, Pan Weili, did not hesitate to praise the Vietnamese team.

This person believes that the Vietnamese team is progressing very quickly and developing like the model of Japanese football.

“Thank you Wu Lei for the goal in the last minute of injury time. Without it, the Chinese team's victory would have felt completely unconvincing.

The Vietnamese team plays more and more like Japan's B team. I don't know how long it will be before the Chinese team can coordinate smoothly and control the ball like them," said Mr. Pan Weili.

According to plan, on October 13, Coach Troussier and his team will continue to have a friendly match with Uzbekistan.
