Return 16 million VND for wedding ring lost by young man

Earlier, at noon on April 10, Nguyen Ngoc Phong went to Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district to get the ring to prepare for his wedding ceremony when he lost his wallet. Inside were some personal documents and 16 million VND in cash to pay for the wedding ring.

Immediately after that, Mr. Phong returned to search along the way and posted on social media hoping to get his lost items back. At around 2:30 p.m. the same day, Mr. Phong received a phone call from Tan Lap Commune Police informing him that someone had picked up the wallet and handed it over to Tan Thanh Commune Police.

According to the leader of Tan Thanh Commune Police, the person who picked up Nguyen Ngoc Phong's wallet was Nguyen Cong Quang (17 years old), living in the same district of Huong Hoa. At around 12:30 p.m. the same day, while passing through A Trum bridge in Tan Thanh Commune, Quang discovered the wallet lying on the side of the road. Immediately after that, he brought it to the commune police to hand it over.

Here, after confirming that the wallet contained all the personal documents under the name Nguyen Ngoc Phong and the cash amount of 16 million VND, we proceeded to hand over all the above assets. This is an action that deserves to be commended and spread in the community.

At the police station, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phong emotionally thanked Nguyen Cong Quang and the police force for helping him find his lost property.
