On New Year's Eve 2025, Ho Chi Minh City plans to organize fireworks displays at 3 locations.

Of which, the high-altitude point at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City) will feature 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks, and 10 pyrotechnic fireworks.

2 low-altitude points at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) and Van Phuc Urban Area (Thu Duc City) with 90 low-altitude fireworks displays.

Fireworks display time is from 0:00 on January 1, 2025, lasting for 15 minutes.

In addition, the Countdown program will be held on the night of December 31, 2024 at the following locations: Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Bach Dang Wharf Park, and the floating logo area on the Saigon River.

Performing arts programs in districts: 12, Tan Phu, Binh Tan, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be, Can Gio on two nights December 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025.

Particularly in Thu Duc City, from last night (December 29) at Saigon Riverside Park, the New Year Festival City Tet Fest - Thu Duc 2025 opened.

This program is designed in the same scale and format as major festivals in the world. This is the first multi-colored, multi-experience event held in Ho Chi Minh City, combining culture, art, creativity, technology, music and community.

The special highlight of City Tet Fest 2025 is the international-class music stage, designed as grandly as a global music festival.

The program will have a Countdown night to welcome the new year on December 31, 2024.
