(Dan Tri) - With the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application, people can reflect on events, send comments and suggestions on issues they are interested in to authorities at all levels via their smartphones.
On the afternoon of November 14, Ho Chi Minh City held a launching ceremony for the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai.
The Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application aims to build a modern, close and practical digital government model, bringing many benefits to users. The application also aims to effectively implement the 2024 theme "Determination to effectively implement digital transformation and Resolution 98 of the National Assembly".

This is a smart mobile application, a two-way communication channel between the city government and the people with easy and convenient one-touch interaction. With the Digital Citizen application, people can reflect on events, send comments and suggestions on issues that concern them.
People can also access, look up and use public service utilities quickly and conveniently, in many practical areas of life.
On the government side, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application is an effective channel to record, manage and handle events from the reality in the area, based on transparently provided data. Through this, the government can also quickly and promptly provide people with information about the city's activities; propagate newly issued policies, regulations and laws; post news, announcements, emergency warnings, etc.

In the immediate future, in the first phase (from now until December 31), the Digital Citizen application provides 12 main groups of features, displayed including: Reflecting recommendations; Education; Health; Tourism - News; Traffic; Construction; State agencies; Public services - Profile lookup; Maps; General accounts; Interacting with notifications - News - Collecting people's opinions.
Ho Chi Minh City said that in the coming time, the application development agency will continue to listen to feedback and suggestions from departments, branches, sectors and users to update, upgrade and improve the services, features and utilities of the Digital Citizen application, ensuring the application operates stably and smoothly, bringing the most benefits to Ho Chi Minh City residents.
