Ho Chi Minh City will ban trucks from entering the inner city area and install 21 large LED screens to broadcast live images of the parade on the occasion of the April 30th holiday.

The Department of Transport and Public Works (GTCC) of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued an urgent notice on strengthening traffic safety and order during the organization of programs and events serving the April 30 holiday.

Accordingly, the city will ban trucks from circulating in the inner city area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City, limited to the following routes: Do Muoi - Le Duc Anh - Le Kha Phieu - Nguyen Van Linh - Phu My bridge approach road (overpass) - Phu My bridge - Vo Chi Cong - Nguyen Thi Dinh - Dong Van Cong - Mai Chi Tho - Vo Nguyen Giap - Hanoi Highway - Do Muoi.

On April 25, trucks are banned from 4pm to 11pm. On April 27, trucks are banned from 6am to 11:30am. On April 30, trucks are banned from 4am to 11:30am.

The Department of Transport notes that vehicle drivers must comply with the instructions of traffic police, traffic regulators or the instructions of the traffic signal system on the road.

Install 21 LED screens for people to watch the parade

To serve the organization of the April 30th celebration, Ho Chi Minh City Police will organize traffic flow, prohibit people and vehicles from circulating; prohibit stopping and parking and limit people and vehicles from circulating in some areas.

Ho Chi Minh City will install 21 large LED screens to broadcast live images of the parade for people to watch.

In District 1, there are 13 screens located in the following areas: opposite Ben Thanh market, No. 44, 52, 115 Nguyen Hue street, 120-122 Le Loi, 63-65-67 Tran Hung Dao, 25-27 Ton Duc Thang, No. 2 Nguyen Trai, 121 Nguyen Binh Khiem, No. 1 Pham Viet Chanh, 11-11Bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, 78 Le Lai.

District 3 has 4 locations, including: Pasteur - Vo Thi Sau corner, International Square roundabout (Turtle Lake), 245 Dien Bien Phu, 11-11A Pham Ngoc Thach.

District 4 has 2 locations: Khanh Hoi bridge (corner of Van Don wharf - Khanh Hoi bridge).

District 10 is the screen at Ly Thai To roundabout - No. 2 Ngo Gia Tu.

Phu Nhuan District screen at the intersection of Nguyen Van Troi - Hoang Van Thu.

Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro runs until 11pm to carry passengers on the occasion of April 30th holiday
On the occasion of April 30, the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line will increase trips and running times each day to meet people's travel and entertainment needs.

The time of application is from April 25 to May 4. Of which, on April 25, 28 and 29, the train will run from 5am to 11pm with 210 trips per day, an increase of 10 trips compared to normal. The interval between each trip is 8-12 minutes.

On the remaining days (April 26, 27 and from May 1 to 4), trains will still run from 5am to 11pm. However, the frequency of trips will be more frequent to meet the travel and sightseeing needs of people when the city organizes many programs and events during the holidays.

On April 30, the metro will increase train running time from 4:30 a.m. and increase the number of trips and frequency.
