Nha Trang City puts into operation many temporary parking lots

According to the report of Nha Trang City People's Committee, as of April 20, the city has organized the exploitation of 5 temporary parking lots, including: The old gas station No. 4 land on October 23 Street (next to Long Son Pagoda); the old Ana Mandara resort land on Tran Phu Street; the land recovered from Nha Trang Sao Joint Stock Company (opposite Hon Do); the land at 170 Le Hong Phong and the old Quyet Thang bus station land on Dien Bien Phu Street. The parking lots are arranged with entrance and exit gates; technology software is applied to control the number of vehicles entering and exiting. The price of parking services is applied according to Decision No. 36 dated December 15, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee. Nha Trang City People's Committee assigns the People's Committees of communes and wards to directly organize parking according to regulations.

Temporary parking lot in Le Hong Phong II Urban Area has come into operation.

In addition, Ha Quang Real Estate Joint Stock Company is operating 2 temporary parking lots while waiting for the project to be implemented according to the planning on vacant land on Thich Quang Duc Street, in Le Hong Phong II Urban Area. ACC Aviation Construction Corporation is also operating 1 temporary parking lot on the land belonging to the K98-NT Military Family Housing Project. These units are self-managing, organizing the operation and are responsible for the parking lot activities.

Currently, the temporary parking lots in operation have contributed to solving the parking needs in the area, limiting traffic congestion on routes such as Tran Phu, Pham Van Dong and 23 Thang 10. In particular, the parking lot at the old gas station No. 4 has helped reduce traffic congestion on 23 Thang 10 Street and the area in front of Long Son Pagoda.
