Mong Cai City received the Award "Excellent Partner of Friendship City towards China"

Mong Cai City has just been honored to receive the “Friendship City Elite Partner Award for China”. The award was presented at the 2024 China International Friendship Cities Congress, held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

Mong Cai City is honored to receive the Award "Excellent Partner of Friendship City towards China".

At the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 China International Friendship Cities Congress, from November 18-20, the Mong Cai City Delegation attended the Congress in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

The 2024 China International Friendship Cities Congress is jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China Federation of International Friendship Cities, and the Kunming Municipal People's Government. This activity is an important factor in enhancing mutual understanding and friendship among the people, promoting friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between local governments of various countries.

Standing Vice Chairman of Mong Cai City People's Committee Do Van Tuan was the head of the delegation, representing the city to receive the award "Outstanding Partner of Friendship City with China".

At the Congress, Mong Cai City was honored to receive the “Excellent Partner of Friendship City with China” Award. Specifically, Mong Cai City is a friendship city with Dongxing City (China). Since the signing of the memorandum in December 2015, the two sides have carried out practical cooperation activities in the fields of friendship exchange, trade cooperation, and people-to-people exchange, achieving great results.

The China International Friendship Cities Congress has been successfully held for 6 times. This is an opportunity for representatives of local governments of various countries to participate in exchange activities on issues of mutual concern, creating an important platform for Chinese friendship cities to share experiences, promote friendship, and seek development.

The conference will discuss and exchange issues on urban technology innovation, green development, cultural inheritance, interconnection and implementation of activities including: Signing ceremony of friendship cities and cooperation projects, commending friendship cities from China and abroad; introducing and promoting thematic topics, sharing cooperation experiences and development achievements, and looking forward to a bright future with joint development and win-win cooperation between friendship cities and local governments from China and abroad.
