Ho Chi Minh City: Independent candidates take high school graduation exam at 4 locations

Candidates must ensure to submit their application and complete the procedures within the prescribed time.

The city's Department of Education and Training also said that independent candidates submit their applications at one of four reception points according to the Department's instructions. Specifically, these four points are: Chu Van An Continuing Education Center (District 5), Le Quy Don Continuing Education Center (District 1), Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center (District 10) and Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center (District 12).

Candidates must ensure that they submit their application and complete the procedures within the specified time. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan. Accordingly, the exam will take place on June 26-27.

The 2025 high school graduation exam results are expected to be announced on July 16, with graduation consideration completed before July 18. Candidates will be granted temporary certificates and have their transcripts returned from July 22. The review period (if any) will end on August 10.

Particularly for the consideration of junior high school graduation and preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training emphasized that junior high schools need to carefully check the graduation records (compare between the transcripts, birth certificates, certificates, etc.), ensure absolute accuracy of full name, date of birth, place of birth (full district - county, province - city), complete columns, no torn, erased, with full signatures of the person responsible for each part and of the management level, etc.; make a list for graduation recognition and check the records against the birth certificate, transcripts, note priority cases if any. School principals should check again, especially pay attention to checking multiple times when entering data into the list.

Some special cases such as students returning from abroad... without a complete 4-year academic record will be considered and resolved by the Department of Education and Training (correct age, enough grades...).
