Nguyen Truong Gia Ngoc, a resident of District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, said: “I am really proud to see the cafes decorated splendidly and brightly to celebrate the great holiday - National Reunification Day. Looking at that space, I feel moved and grateful to the generations of our ancestors, who sacrificed their blood and bones to bring us peace today.

Gia Ngoc expressed his joy when many people of all generations, from the elderly to the young and even children, were filled with pride when holding the Vietnamese flag and taking photos to commemorate this special day. All created a meaningful and warm atmosphere.

Many children are brought to the shop by their parents as a way for them to develop early awareness of their roots and national pride.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Quoc, manager of a coffee shop on Hoa Hung Street (District 10) excitedly shared: "What makes us most proud is the Vietnamese flag placed solemnly in the shop space, like a sacred symbol."

“Currently, the shop is introducing signature dishes such as Vietnamese salt coffee and Vietnamese milk tea, with the highlight being that each glass of water is printed with the Vietnamese flag on the surface. This is not only a way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, but also a subtle reminder, so that every customer who enjoys it feels national pride and does not forget the glorious history of the country,” Anh Quoc added.

The Tube Coffee Shop on Suong Nguyet Anh Street (District 1) is also becoming a favorite destination for many young people thanks to its unique design. These cups of coffee are contained in natural bamboo tubes, which are both creative and environmentally friendly. In particular, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the shop also decorated with images rich in national identity delicately carved on the bamboo tubes, combined with the fluttering red flag with yellow star, creating a space full of pride and meaning.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang (living in District 5) and her child waited to buy coffee at Ong Coffee Shop, excitedly sharing: “I am really impressed with the decoration with bamboo tubes here, a very familiar and Vietnamese material. As soon as I entered, I wanted to check-in immediately, my heart was excited, eagerly waiting for the April 30th holiday. For a long time, I have always wanted my child to get acquainted with the symbols of my homeland such as the red flag with yellow star, to understand that April 30th is a sacred milestone when the country was unified. I hope my child will grow up with a deep love for the country and national pride.”

Meanwhile, on Hoang Sa Street (District 1), a coffee shop makes a strong impression with rows of red flags with yellow stars hanging high, blending with ancient tiled roofs and faded yellow walls imbued with nostalgia. Hong Hanh, currently living in District 8, happily shared: “I really like visiting shops like this, especially when the shop is decorated with the Vietnamese flag and has many beautiful photo corners prepared. As April 30 is approaching, I chose this place to immerse myself in the festive atmosphere and feel the meaning of the country's reunification day.”

Hanh excitedly added: “The restaurant is very well prepared, from the fluttering Vietnamese flags to the conical hats printed with the flag so that customers can take pictures and celebrate the big holiday together. I think Ho Chi Minh City should have more spaces like this because there are a lot of international tourists coming here. When they see these images, they will understand how patriotic and proud Vietnamese people are of their country.”
