Sending condolences and encouragement to the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Kim Yen emphasized that, with the spirit of "mutual love and support", sharing difficulties with people severely affected by natural disasters in recent times, the City's National Assembly Delegation representing the people, cadres and soldiers of the city supports Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to stabilizing the lives and production of people in the area.

On behalf of the people, cadres and soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Tran Kim Yen presented 1 billion VND to support the people of Nghe An province and 500 million VND to support the people of Thanh Hoa province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province Thai Thanh Quy thanked the Party Committee, government, cadres, soldiers and people of Ho Chi Minh City for their good feelings and timely encouragement to help the two provinces overcome the flood.
Recently, due to the influence of tropical depression, there has been very heavy rain in the two localities, causing widespread flooding. Currently, the Party Committees and authorities of the two provinces have focused on leading, directing, and evacuating people from flooded areas to safety, protecting the property of the people and the State; and helping people overcome the consequences.
Expressing gratitude for the support from the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy affirmed that Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces are committed to using the support resources reasonably, effectively and for the right purposes so that people can soon stabilize their lives.
