Ho Chi Minh City to set off fireworks at 30 locations to celebrate April 30

Ho Chi Minh City will organize 3 nights of fireworks on the occasion of the 30.4 holiday.

Regarding the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, Colonel Tran Van Trung, said that the city will organize two fireworks displays.

Phase 1 will take place on the evenings of April 19 and 26 at Saigon River Park (Thu Duc City). The city will organize high-altitude fireworks displays at 9:30 p.m. - 9:40 p.m.

Phase 2 will take place on the evening of April 30 from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The city will organize fireworks displays at 30 locations, including two high-altitude locations at the Saigon River Tunnel Area (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi District).

28 low-altitude fireworks display locations at: Nga Ba Giong, Hoc Mon district; Ben Noc Memorial Temple, Thu Duc City; Rung Sac Martyrs Memorial Temple, Can Gio district; An Phu Dong War Zone, 38-hectare Tan Son Nhat resettlement area, District 12; Lang Le Cultural Park, Binh Chanh district; Binh Tri Dong residential area, Binh Tan district;

Thong Nhat Hall, Ba Son Bridge, District 1; Thanh Da Peninsula, Landmark 81 Park, Binh Thanh District; Thao Dien Area, Thu Duc City; Tan Thuan Bridge, District 4; Tay Bac Industrial Park, Cu Chi District; Go Vap District Cultural Park; Nha Be District People's Committee Area; District 7 Administrative Center; Dam Sen Cultural Park, District 11; Binh Dien Market Area, District 8; An Binh Area, Tan Phu District; Binh Phu Park, District 6.

In addition, there are some shooting points on barges in the areas: Rach Chiec, Saigon River, Van Phuc urban area, and Ben Bach Dang wharf.

Colonel Tran Van Trung emphasized that the Ho Chi Minh City Command is coordinating with relevant departments, branches and units to ensure absolute security and safety at the fireworks sites and event areas. Preparations also include drills, technical inspections and mobilization of forces to respond to all situations.

These activities not only honor the historical significance of April 30 but are also an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to affirm its position, arouse national pride and attract the attention of domestic and foreign tourists.
