On the evening of January 3, the 5th “Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand” Award Ceremony in 2024 honored 29 enterprises with prestigious brands reaching national and international levels. This is an annual award organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and related units.

Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, informed that the enterprises honored this year operate in many important fields such as mechanics, consumer goods production, food processing, services and trade.

The award-winning enterprises have shown impressive figures including revenue of more than 160,000 billion VND, creating jobs for over 57,000 workers and contributing nearly 9,000 billion VND to the state budget...

In particular, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized that businesses have made constant efforts in innovation and flexible adaptation to the challenges of the times by investing heavily in research and development, applying new technologies to increase production efficiency, digital transformation and focusing on green transformation, using recycled materials and reducing emissions to the environment.

At the same time, actively participate in volunteer activities, support the community and improve the material and spiritual life of workers.

Enterprises that have won the Golden Brand award in recent years take souvenir photos.

Therefore, to win the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand Award in 2024, businesses must meet a series of criteria such as transparency and compliance with the law, business ethics, human resources policies. Along with business performance, management system and brand coverage, quality and safety... Especially promoting innovation, green transformation, digital transformation of businesses.

In particular, this year the Organizing Committee also cooperated with Kantar Vietnam, an independent market research company, to conduct a consumer survey on the brand recognition level of participating businesses, to select 4 categories of outstanding Gold Brand awards: Gold Innovation Brand; Gold Sustainability Brand; Gold Brand of the Youth; Gold Brand of Social Responsibility and to honor businesses that have continuously won awards over the past years.

Based on the results of the voting council and referring to the results of the consumer survey, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has decided to recognize 29 enterprises that have won the Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand Award in 2024. Of which, 3 enterprises have won the Golden Brand for the first time and 19 enterprises have won the award for the third time.

According to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, by overcoming a series of strict criteria of this year's award, it proves that businesses have built and maintained strong, solid brands in the market. The honored businesses also stand out in investing heavily in research and development, innovation in products and services, demonstrating the ability to adapt flexibly in difficult times.
