Ho Chi Minh City inaugurates first cluster of 3 schools built according to national standards

According to the People's Committee of Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, the cluster of 3 schools: Son Ca Kindergarten, Hung Vuong Primary School and Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School were built on public works land, Ward 6, Tan Binh District. This is one of the key projects under the 4,500 classroom project of Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

All 3 schools are built according to national standard school regulations, all items fully comply with the material standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. In particular, all 3 schools have main gates overlooking the park, very airy and cool.

Specifically, the project to build a cluster of 3 schools includes 4 component projects:

Son Ca Kindergarten has a campus area of ^6,348.5m2 ; construction land area: ^2,120.1m2 ; including 1 ground floor, 3 floors, 20 classrooms, functional rooms and kitchen; total investment of 122,393 billion VND.

Hung Vuong Primary School has a campus area of ^9,432.5m2 ; construction land area: ^3,322.4m2 ; including 1 ground floor, 3 floors, 30 classrooms, functional rooms, kitchen, multi-purpose gymnasium; total investment of 147,568 billion VND.

Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School has a campus area of ^12,283.5m2 ; construction land area: ^4,025.18m2 ; scale is 1 ground floor, 3 floors, 45 classrooms, functional rooms, kitchen and swimming pool; total investment of 196,896 billion VND.

Traffic infrastructure and green parks have a total investment of 690,001 billion VND (of which construction and installation costs: 109,258 billion VND; costs to support the process of using crop cultivation of households to implement the project: 580,743 billion VND).

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Tan Binh District People's Committee, presented gifts to thank households in the area for supporting the project to build a cluster of 3 schools.

According to the Tan Binh District People's Committee, thanks to persistent advocacy and explanation, local residents have agreed with the project. The support of the people is a key factor in helping the project complete on schedule and achieve its goals.

According to Tan Binh District People's Committee, 100% of students of the above 3 schools study 2 sessions/day, class size meets the standards according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy - member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, emphasized that the project to build a cluster of 3 schools in Tan Binh district has a very important meaning.

"As Tuoi Tre newspaper reported this morning, the cluster of 3 schools and the park are beautiful, spacious, truly impressive and surprising to many people. This is the result, the dedication of many leaders, former leaders of Tan Binh district and the expectations of the people in the area.
