On the afternoon of June 24, Hung Vuong High School, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City held a Party admission ceremony for two outstanding students of the school, Ha Minh Nhat, student of class 12A22, and Nguyen Thuy Khanh Chi, student of class 12A2.

Ha Minh Nhat is the Secretary of the Youth Union of Hung Vuong High School for the 2021 - 2022 and 2022 - 2023 terms.

Minh Nhat has achieved many achievements during his high school years such as winning first prize in the "Application of digital transformation in education" contest at the 2023 Science and Innovation Festival; third prize in the city-level science and technology contest, school year 2022 - 2023; second prize in the "Finding high school student leaders" contest, school year 2022 - 2023...

In September 2024, Minh Nhat will study abroad with a full scholarship and living allowance at EIKEI University of Hiroshima, Japan.

Speaking at the Party admission ceremony, Minh Nhat said: "For me, the trust and gratitude for the Party and Uncle Ho are also passed on through the stories told by my grandparents. They were loyal and honest communists who were admitted to the Party at the age of eighteen or twenty.

My grandparents told me about the days of fighting for the country, for the people, for the noble purposes and ideals of youth. I know that actively participating in volunteer activities and studying well are the most practical things to cultivate revolutionary ideals and passionate patriotism; to make positive contributions to the district and the city.

Now, as a young party member, I will continue to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. I will always remember his teachings: "We must study forever and progress forever to be truly young."

Minh Nhat said he will study sustainable development at university: "This is a new major. But I hope that after finishing my studies, I will return to Vietnam and be able to apply the knowledge and skills I have learned, contributing to the development of the city."

On the same afternoon, Bui Thi Xuan High School, Ho Chi Minh City also held a Party admission ceremony for Mr. Le Duc Duy and two students. Mr. Duy is a physical education teacher at Bui Thi Xuan High School. He and his teammates won gold and silver medals at the 32nd SEA Games in Vovinam.

The two students admitted to the Party this time are both excellent students of Bui Thi Xuan High School, including: Nguyen Hoang Phuong Trang, class 12A14 and Duong Khanh Ngoc, class 12A12.
