Free tuition is a gift
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that currently, public primary school students, 5-year-old preschool children and secondary school students in the city are exempt from tuition fees. Thus, only preschool children under 5 years old and high school students must pay tuition fees according to regulations.
The tuition exemption will be a meaningful and practical gift for all students in the city, creating a mark to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
In addition, this also clearly demonstrates the city's investment in education; Being a leading city in tuition exemption and support policies, ensuring education quality and learning opportunities for people; marking an important milestone in Ho Chi Minh City being the locality implementing tuition exemption for students at all levels...
In addition, the development of the above policy also aims to fulfill the tasks after joining the UNESCO Global Learning Cities Network, effectively implementing the Ho Chi Minh City Education Development Strategy from now until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
