Within the framework of Vietnam Film Week, with the theme of Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Vietnam Film Institute organized a public film screening program on Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, at 7:30 p.m. on April 27 and 28, at the exhibition area and outdoor stage on Nguyen Hue walking street, there will be exchange programs with film experts and public film screenings including the films "Wild Field", "City at Dawn", and a meeting with the film crew "Tunnels: Sun in the Dark" by director Bui Thac Chuyen.
According to the Organizing Committee, the above activities are important and outstanding highlights in the series of cultural and sports activities responding to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; together with the series of activities with the theme "Colors of Uncle Ho's City", it is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to proudly introduce to domestic and international friends a dynamic, creative, and unique urban area - a place where national spirit and aspirations for the future converge.
