Revealing the number of real estate tax records still in existence in Ho Chi Minh City
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online late today, September 26, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, said the above. According to Mr. Dung, after the tax records were cleared, the number of new land tax records submitted increased rapidly.
Every day, several hundred new sets of documents are generated. Today, September 26th alone, 500 new sets of documents were generated.
However, the tax authority has accelerated the processing as much as possible. Therefore, up to now, there are only 9,150 records remaining, including both new and old land tax records.
"As of today, September 26, the tax authority has processed 2,700 sets of documents and will work all weekend to quickly resolve the remaining documents," Mr. Dung affirmed.
The head of the tax department is responsible for processing land records.
Previously, right after the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued document 5635 allowing the use of the current land price list to calculate taxes while waiting for the issuance of the new land price list, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department urgently directed the heads of tax branches to prioritize and focus resources to resolve as soon as possible the land records received from August 1, working on Saturdays and Sundays...
At the same time, tax branches must report daily processing progress to the land management department so that this department can summarize and report to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department. Units and individuals who perform well will be encouraged and rewarded promptly.
Notably, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department requires the heads of tax branches in the area to be responsible for organizing the processing of land records, not allowing any trouble, harassment, or negativity to arise.
