According to information from the People's Committee of Ha Long City, as of December 22, the amount of fees, charges and other revenues reached 4,425 billion VND (equal to 102% of the provincial estimate and 100% of the city's plan, equal to 161% compared to the same period in 2023).
In 2024, the total domestic revenue of the provincial budget assigned to Ha Long City is 9,025 billion VND, of which the revenue from taxes, fees, charges and other revenues is 4,338 billion VND, the rest is revenue from land. Although the budget collection for taxes, fees, charges and other revenues in 2024 encountered many difficulties due to the Government's tax exemption and reduction policies, with the leadership, direction and high determination of the entire political system, up to now, the city's collection of fees, charges and other revenues has reached 4,425 billion VND (equal to 102% of the provincial estimate and 100% of the city's plan, equal to 161% compared to the same period in 2023).
Of which, there are some high revenue items as follows: Revenue from central state-owned enterprises reached 15.5 billion VND (equal to 155% of the plan, equal to 167% compared to the same period in 2023); revenue from local state-owned enterprises reached 19.4 billion VND (equal to 105% of the plan, equal to 128% compared to the same period in 2023); personal income tax revenue reached 352 billion VND (equal to 117% of the plan, equal to 154% compared to the same period in 2023); registration fee revenue reached 372 billion VND (equal to 117% of the plan, equal to 127% compared to the same period in 2023) ; fee and charge revenue reached over 874 billion VND (equal to 117% of the plan, equal to 126% compared to the same period in 2023); Other budget revenue reached 881 billion VND (equal to 220% of the plan, equal to 187% compared to the same period in 2023) ...
In the last days of 2024, the city will continue to closely follow the tasks of preventing revenue loss, reviewing revenue sources, focusing on urging the collection of extended and due revenues according to the Government's resolution ; strengthening the urging, guidance, inspection and supervision of enterprises to declare taxes promptly and in accordance with regulations; resolutely handling the collection of land use fees from individual households . In particular, the city will also direct functional forces to review projects that still owe land use fees and transfer files to the City Police to handle cases showing signs of violating the law...
