Ha Long City starts construction of 2 key projects to welcome Party Congresses at all levels

Looking forward to the election of village and ward chiefs for the 2025-2027 term and to make achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, on December 14, Ha Long City organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build a centralized clean water supply system in Ky Thuong commune and the project to invest in and renovate infrastructure in the central area of Tan Dan commune.

The project to build a centralized clean water supply system in Ky Thuong commune is one of the city's four rural clean water projects to complete the target of 80% of rural households using clean water that meets current standards and the criteria of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas of the communes.

Ha Long City leaders talked and asked Ky Thuong commune residents to support site clearance work so that the project can be completed as soon as possible.

The project has a total investment of nearly 24 billion VND. The scale includes: Investing in the construction of a centralized clean water supply system with a capacity of 300m3/day and night; dam; raw water pumping station; raw water supply pipeline; regulating valve pit; clean water treatment area; common technical infrastructure; clean water supply network to households. According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into use in June 2025.

Previously, in October 2024, the city also organized the groundbreaking ceremony for 2 clean water projects in the communes of Son Duong, Dong Lam, Vu Oai, Hoa Binh, Dan Chu, Quang La, Bang Ca, and Tan Dan. In the coming time, Ha Long City will continue to start the remaining project, which is the project to build a clean water supply system in Dong Son commune.

Delegates pressed the button to start the project to invest in and renovate infrastructure in the central area of Tan Dan commune.

With the goal of concretizing the general planning of Tan Dan commune until 2040, and at the same time completing the infrastructure and landscape architecture of the commune, the Investment and Infrastructure Renovation Project for the central area of Tan Dan commune has a total investment of 23 billion VND. The project will invest in renovating 2 main roads in the commune center, of which, route 1 has the starting point from National Highway 279 to the end point at Tan Dan Primary and Secondary School; route 2 has the starting point from National Highway 279 to the end point at Tan Dan Kindergarten. Both routes are invested in synchronous construction of foundation, road surface, sidewalk, trees, and drainage ditches. According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into use in July 2025.

The implementation of the above two projects is the foundation and premise to promote the communes to develop more comprehensively in all aspects of socio-economic life, improving the quality of life and living standards of the people. In particular, these are not only essential social infrastructure projects but also continue to be clear evidence of the attention and investment of Ha Long City for the highland communes, where people are making constant efforts to build an increasingly better life, towards realizing Resolution No. 78-NQ/TU dated January 2, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on prioritizing resources, exploiting potentials, promoting socio-economic development of communes until 2025, with a vision to 2030.
