Cam Pha City: Promoting the spirit of youth volunteerism

The City Government Youth Union supports public administrative services at the Cam Pha City Public Administration Center Branch.

Many activities on digital platforms such as: Organizing competitions, movements, meetings, studying and volunteering online. Instead of using traditional printed documents, delegates only need to scan QR codes to access documents, contributing to cost savings, being environmentally friendly and demonstrating the spirit of innovation and creativity in organizing work.

The application of IT not only brings convenience, but also spreads strongly in the youth community and local people. This is also a clear demonstration of the role of youth in the process of implementing national digital transformation.

With the goal of building a modern and effective youth union, Cam Pha City Youth Union has deployed 100% of its members to install the "Vietnamese Youth" application. This application plays a role in connecting members with the organization, providing official information and supporting effective union management; by the end of March 2025, 8,465 members in the city had their information updated on the system.

In addition, 45 youth union units under the Cam Pha City Youth Union have been granted union member management accounts on digital software. This software supports 12 operations in union work such as: Admission, transfer of activities, union member evaluation, training, rewards... In addition, the software also integrates internal chat functions, meeting invitations, and document issuance to help increase interaction between union chapters.

Not only stopping at the organizational level, Cam Pha youth also directly participate in the digital transformation project of the province and city. 100% of the Youth Unions of wards and communes have established volunteer teams to support public administrative services, processing 400-500 online public records at levels 3 and 4 each year. Along with that, youth projects have practical significance such as guiding people to use the internet, supporting digital procedures in villages and neighborhoods.

Cam Pha City Youth Union also launched a movement to propose digital transformation ideas and initiatives to simplify work processes. The goal is to bring 500 creative ideas to the "Vietnam Youth Creative Idea Bank" by the end of 2025.

Promoting the advantages of technology in communication, Cam Pha City Youth Union has established and maintained fanpages such as: "Cam Pha Youth" and "Cam Pha City Youth Union" which have attracted more than 11,000 followers. This is a channel that promptly updates union activities and promotes good people and good deeds; refutes false information and promotes patriotism among young people. Deploying QR-Code at red addresses and historical and cultural relics in the area; in which the typical project is the "Online Tour Guide" at Cua Ong Temple, helping visitors easily access information via QR code scanning. The Youth Union of wards and communes in the city proactively guides people; especially vulnerable groups, people without bank accounts; to access new forms of payment via e-wallets, QR-Code, Mobile Money...

Along with this activity is the propaganda work on cyber security and security in digital payments. Cam Pha City Youth Union mobilized over 1,000 members to actively encourage more than 8,000 households and small businesses to install and use payment applications. Thereby contributing to changing spending habits in the community, promoting e-commerce and the local digital economy.

With a pioneering, creative and proactive spirit, the Youth Union of Cam Pha City is gradually affirming its role as a core force in the local industrialization and modernization process. Through specific and practical actions, the city's youth have been contributing to building a modern, smart and sustainably developed Cam Pha City.
