On the afternoon of June 16, the Standing Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution (NQ) of the 15th City Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. Comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee co-chaired the conference.
During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Executive Committee of the Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee focused on leading, directing, and implementing the goals and tasks, achieving many positive results. Of the 16 targets of the Resolution, with 54 component targets, 31 basic component targets were achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution, the remaining targets are being implemented and achieving positive results.

Specifically, the average growth rate of production value in the period of 2021 - 2023 is estimated at 12.16%; the average production value per capita in 2023 is estimated at 182 million VND (Resolution to 2025 is about 220 million VND); trade and services continue to develop in scale and quality, total retail sales of goods and service revenue in 2023 is estimated at 67,978 billion VND, an increase of 52.08% compared to 2020, the average growth in the period of 2021 - 2023 is 13.89% (Resolution 15%); the production value (2010 comparable prices) of the industry in 2023 is estimated at 14,157 billion VND, an increase of 45.67% compared to the beginning of the term, an average increase of 13.36%/year. Total social investment capital is estimated to reach over 65,000 billion VND from the beginning of the term to 2023, equal to 52.07% of the plan.
Budget collection has been focused on by leaders, directed and implemented with high results. Up to now, the city's estimated budget collection has reached 6,614 billion VND, an increase of 8.51% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council. Buon Ma Thuot City has been recognized for completing the task of building new rural areas.

The national defense, security and social order and safety situation has been maintained. Party building work has seen many changes. Since the beginning of the term, over 553 new party members have been admitted, bringing the total number of party members of the entire city Party Committee to 15,391.
In addition to the achieved results, in the past half term, there are still some low targets such as: the target of building markets in wards and communes, only 1/5 of the markets have been built; land use planning and annual land use plans are slow to be approved; cultural and tourism development is not commensurate with the city's location and potential; the quality of social supervision and criticism is still limited...

Concluding the conference, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee Tu Thai Giang requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations from the city to the ward and commune levels to review the targets and tasks that are still low and the limitations and shortcomings of their agencies and units to focus on leadership and direction to overcome them. In particular, focusing on a number of key tasks and solutions: effectively implementing the Project on ecological urban agriculture, high-quality agriculture, developing agriculture in a modern direction, increasing quality and economic efficiency; focusing on determination to strive to complete 8/8 advanced new rural communes, including 2 model new rural communes by 2025; strengthening measures to prevent revenue loss, collect tax debts, ensure correct and full collection according to tax laws. Along with that, continue to strengthen Party building and rectification in conjunction with implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; build a streamlined apparatus of agencies, units and organizations that operate effectively and efficiently and create people's satisfaction...
