Ben Cat City: Mobilized 1.6 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

City leaders and agencies, units, communes and wards attended the launching ceremony.

The program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025" is a meaningful and practical work, demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and support", responsibility and morality of "Repaying gratitude", "remembering the source of water" to bring stable housing to the poor, policy families, and people in difficult circumstances in the city, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party and State.

Delegates participated in supporting the program

Through the review results, in the city there are currently 70 cases that need attention and support for repairing, building and buying houses; of which 65 cases are poor households, near-poor households, households with housing difficulties and 5 policy households that need attention and support for building and buying houses. Thus, to complete the plan to ensure the requirements of the Provincial Steering Committee, Ben Cat City needs to mobilize 2 billion 550 million VND.

City leaders presented flowers to thank units and individuals who supported the program.

At the launching ceremony, the City Steering Committee received support from officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, organizations, individuals, and businesses with nearly 1.6 billion VND to implement the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025".
