According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, during the 2-day holiday of September 1 and 2, the program to visit the national architectural and artistic relic of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee Headquarters is expected to welcome about 1,500 visitors.
Delegations of students, teachers, locals, and domestic and international tourists had impressive experiences on the tour.
Compared to the previous April 30 tour program, this program has the following new features:
-The tour starts from the entrance gate of the headquarters (instead of starting from the Uncle Ho monument park) to ensure that the tour is not affected by the weather when Ho Chi Minh City enters the rainy season.
-In addition to the building's architecture, visitors can also experience the photo exhibition space about architectural works of art and unique tourist destinations of the city.
- Experience the exhibition space of winning souvenir designs in the 2023 Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Souvenir Design Contest and nearly 100 types of city tourism promotion publications.
The tour program continues to receive positive feedback and affection from locals and tourists.
After this program, the People's Council and People's Committee headquarters will continue to open to serve people and tourists on the last Saturday and Sunday of each month, starting from September until the end of 2023.
Accordingly, each day of the tour will have 28 visiting hours, starting at 8am in the morning and 2pm in the afternoon, each hour is 15 minutes apart and there will be a maximum of 40 visitors in each hour.
At the same time, the Organizing Committee also deployed explanations in many different languages to serve the visiting process of international tourists.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will also launch an online registration portal in September 2023 so that people and tourists can proactively register for tour programs until the end of 2023.
Residents and visitors to the City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters must register in advance through the online registration portal, dress politely and bring their ID card or passport when visiting. During the visit, residents and visitors must comply with the visiting regulations; especially not bring luggage, backpacks, handbags, handbags, cameras, video cameras, bulky items, flammable and explosive materials and weapons when visiting.
