On the morning of November 20, a clip recording a group of students riding motorbikes in a "three-person group", not wearing helmets, holding flags, weaving on Nguyen Trai Street (near Nga Tu So overpass, Thanh Xuan District) was posted on social media. After the clip was posted, many people expressed outrage at the actions of the group of students causing traffic safety problems.

According to Mr. MHM (the person who posted the clip), the incident happened at 8:59 a.m. the same day. While Mr. M. was driving on Nguyen Trai Street (near the Nga Tu So overpass, heading towards Tay Son), a group of students on motorbikes passed him.

"This group was riding 5-6 Honda Wave and Honda Vision motorbikes... some carrying three people, some carrying two people, all without helmets," said Mr. MHM.

According to Mr. M., the group of students also carried flags, the flag poles were quite long, some of them waved them on the road causing traffic safety problems.

Mr. Nguyen Chien (residing in Ha Dong district, Hanoi) said that recently, the authorities have launched a campaign to raise awareness and handle violations against school-age children. However, there are still many cases of intentional violations, endangering the children themselves and other traffic participants.

Ms. Dang Huyen (residing in Cau Giay district, Hanoi) said that it is necessary to verify and handle the person who gave the vehicle to underage students to drive.

Speaking with VietNamNet reporters, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that the unit has assigned the local Traffic Police Team to verify and clarify the reflection.
