At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung informed voters about the expected content of the program of the 9th Session; at the same time, emphasizing that this is a very important session, the National Assembly will review and amend the 2013 Constitution and laws to implement the Party's policy on streamlining the apparatus of the political system. The Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office stated that streamlining the apparatus, merging the provincial level, not organizing the district level and merging the communes is a major policy to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus, while helping localities to exploit more strongly their potentials and strengths, creating new spaces for development, contributing to bringing the country forward in the era of national development.

Acting Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong reported, explained and clarified opinions and recommendations of voters of Cam Lo town, Cam Lo district.

Many voters hope that after the merger, the Central Government needs to have appropriate policies to solve employment for non-professional staff at the commune level; at the same time, continue to have solutions to attract investment, create new jobs for people, including cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who quit their jobs according to regulations when implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.

Regarding the implementation of the task of merging Quang Tri province with Quang Binh province, the Acting Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee said that the leaders of the two provinces had met and agreed to propose plans to organize and rearrange the apparatus to facilitate the work of officials, ensuring the most convenient implementation of administrative procedures for the people. The key projects and works in Quang Tri province are also being accelerated, upgrading the investment level to create a competitive advantage in attracting investment in the coming time.

Voters expressed their agreement and high support for the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system.
