According to Axios, the phone call lasted about 25 minutes, in which billionaire Musk promised President Zelensky that he would continue to allow Ukraine to connect to the Starlink satellite Internet system.
For his part, Mr. Trump declared that the US would continue to support Ukraine, but the topic of the incoming boss's " peace plan" at the White House was not discussed during the phone call.
“Nothing that President Zelensky and his aides heard from Mr. Trump and his team should have raised concerns or a sense that Ukraine would pay a price,” Axios wrote.
Axios commented that billionaire Musk's participation in the call could show how important the businessman's role will be in the Trump administration in the future.
Meanwhile, commenting on social network X about the announcement of President-elect Trump's plan for Ukraine, billionaire Musk expressed his belief that the war in Ukraine will soon end thanks to the plan of the incoming boss at the White House.
Regarding Mr. Trump's campaign statement about public support for billionaire Elon Musk, Republican candidate Donald Trump said that if he were elected president, he would create a new ministerial position to appoint billionaire Elon Musk, the title could be "minister of cost reduction".
“He’s a great businessman and a great cost-cutter. And Mr. Musk said he can cut costs without hurting anybody,” Mr. Trump said.
