Attending the program were Deputy Head of Propaganda and Women's Union of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thu Phuong, Vice President of An Giang Provincial Confederation of Labor Lu Thi Kim Thuy and leaders of Party committees and authorities of the two localities.

Implementing the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor allocated 120 scholarships in An Giang province to give to children of female union members in mountainous border communes. Of which, in Tinh Bien town, there are 60 scholarships and Tri Ton district has 60 scholarships, with a total value of 60 million VND. The scholarships were sponsored by the Trade Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam.
