The Vietnamese women's team will have 3 weeks of training in Germany and Poland to prepare for their first participation in the 2023 Women's World Cup. Sharing about the preparation for this major tournament, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed: "Winning the right to participate in the 2023 Women's World Cup is an honor for Vietnamese women's football. Immediately after getting a ticket to this tournament, VFF has made careful investments with quality training trips. In the near future, the Vietnamese women's team will have time to train and get acquainted with the conditions in New Zealand with 2 friendly matches against the New Zealand women's team and the Spanish women's team. This is a meticulous preparation by VFF and the coaching staff of the Vietnamese women's team.

European teams highly appreciate the Vietnamese women's team when they invited coach Mai Duc Chung and his team to play friendly matches recently. The important thing is that we show our playing style, competitive spirit, and that the whole team is a united group. The coaching staff has researched and calculated tactics. VFF hopes that the players can carry out the intentions of coach Mai Duc Chung and his colleagues.

Also at the meeting, Vietnamese Consul General in Frankfurt Le Quang Long expressed his joy when the Vietnamese women's team came to train and play friendly matches in Germany. "Through this training trip, people in Germany know more about Vietnam. Vietnamese expatriates here are also very interested and often ask about the team's situation. Fans are all ready to go to the stadium to cheer for the Vietnamese women's team against the German women's team."
