On the morning of December 19, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Ngoc Toan welcomed Japanese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Ono Masuo to visit Thanh Nien Newspaper .
As a veteran diplomat with many years of experience working in Vietnam, both at the Embassy in Hanoi and now as Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Ono expressed his joy at the increasingly good friendship between Vietnam and Japan in many fields, from political economy, education to the relationship between youth and businesses of the two countries.

Knowing that the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union has just taken place in Hanoi, the Consul General of Japan sent his congratulations on the success of the congress, and congratulated Thanh Nien Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Ngoc Toan on his honor of becoming one of the 6 Vice Presidents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term IX, 2024 - 2029.
