Total export turnover in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 2.7% compared to the same period

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the total export turnover in the first quarter of 2025 decreased compared to the same period last year because in January 2025, there were two holidays, New Year and Lunar New Year, which reduced the number of working days, affecting the export of goods. Along with that, the difficult world economic situation has affected consumer demand, leading to a decrease in orders.

In addition, the province's main export items such as green coffee beans, pepper, and cashew nuts have less inventory than the same period last year, and fruit and vegetable inspections have been tightened, so the number of exported goods has decreased. Specifically, the amount of exported coffee only reached 90,000 tons (down 24,095 tons); cashew nuts reached 9,000 tons (down 1,134 tons); and pepper reached 7,000 tons (down 937 tons).
