This morning, August 29th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Central Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam, the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims, the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Children's Rights in Quang Tri province, and other relevant units, organized the closing ceremony of the exhibition "Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice" - Quang Tri 2024. Colonel Pham Xuan Hung, Vice Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam, attended the event.

The exhibition “Agent Orange – Conscience and Justice” – Quang Tri 2024, held from July 19th to August 29th, 2024 at the Quang Tri Provincial Museum, showcased over 330 images, documents, and artifacts under the following themes: The Agent Orange disaster and the suffering caused by Agent Orange; Vietnam's efforts to overcome the consequences of chemical warfare; The 20-year journey of building and operating the Vietnam Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims and the pursuit of justice for Vietnamese Agent Orange/Dioxin victims; Examples of overcoming difficulties and acts of kindness for Agent Orange victims; Military Region 4 and Quang Tri province's efforts to overcome the Agent Orange disaster, care for and assist victims, and the activities of the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims, and the Association for the Protection of Children's Rights in Quang Tri province.

During the "Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice" exhibition in Quang Tri in 2024, more than 2,000 domestic and international visitors were attracted. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed the Quang Tri Provincial Museum to ensure good conditions for welcoming, explaining, and guiding visitors throughout the exhibition; and to ensure the safety of exhibits and images displayed at the exhibition...
The exhibition "Agent Orange – Conscience and Justice" - Quang Tri 2024 aims to publicize the severe consequences of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam; the concern of the Party, State, Party committees, and authorities in addressing the consequences of chemical toxins from the war in Vietnam; to promote, educate, and raise awareness and responsibility among all segments of the population, especially the younger generation, about the moral principles of "remembering the source when drinking water," "repaying gratitude," and the tradition of mutual support and compassion of the nation; and to encourage organizations, individuals at home and abroad, and international friends... to join hands in alleviating the suffering caused by Agent Orange and supporting the struggle for justice for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin awarded certificates of merit to 9 collectives and 12 individuals for their outstanding achievements in organizing the exhibition "Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice" - Quang Tri 2024.
